About Me

As a self-taught photographer, I entered the United States Army and served 2 years as an 84B20 (Photographer) at Fort MacArthur, San Pedro California.

The major influences on my art include David Nordahl, Stanley Kubrick, J.S. Bach, August Sanders, Brian Jones, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Eugene Atget, Thomas Paine and Voltaire.  Not to forget Charley Patton, E. Eugene Smith, J. M. W. Turner, Sandy Denny, George Tice, Itzhak Perlman, Lou Reed, Robert Frank, Rembrandt, The Incredible String Band, Edward Curtis and Mass in B Minor.  The Pictorial work of Clarence White, Julia Margaret Cameron, Edward Steichen, Gertrude Kasebier, Alfred  Stieglitz and Alice Boughton had an enormous  affect on me at a young age and stll do.  Michael Kenna is a comtepory photographer whose work I highly respect.  I've never met a piano concerto I didn't like.

I've always wanted to live on Abbe Lane, and Lefty betrayed Pancho.
